China’s rising artificial intelligence start-up DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng joined the meeting with President Xi Jinping, according to Yuyuantantian, a media arm of the state-owned China Media Group (CMG).
Liang, as well as Tencent (0700) chairman Pony Ma Huateng, was among leaders of other mainland private enterprises which focus on intelligent manufacturing, digital technology, green energy and other strategically important industries, Yuyuantantain’s post in Weibo showed.
State media CCTV and Xinhua News Agency only mentioned some of the attendees, with Huawei chief executive Ren Zhengfei, BYD (1211) chairman and CEO Wang Chuanfu, New Hope chair Liu Yonghao and Will Semiconductor founder and chairman Yu Renrong, China's rising smart robot maker Unitree Robotics CEO Wang Xingxing and Xiaomi (1810) founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun speaking at the meeting.
