Carlson Tong Ka-shing and Joseph Yam Chi-kwong have been reappointed to the board of directors of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (0388).
Tong is currently the HKEX chair, after taking over the role from Laura Cha Shih May-lung in 2024. Yam, the first chief executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, now serves as a member of the government's Executive Council.
The operator of the Hong Kong's stock exchange and London Metal Exchange also appointed Ding Chen, the chief executive of CSOP Asset Management and a vice chairwoman of the Financial Services Development Council, to its board.
